Our Farm

Here at Beak Hills we manage and maintain a flock of around 300 breeding ewes, we have a range of breeds in the flock including Texal, Swaledale and Scottish Blackface. The farm is 125 acres of valley grass land and we have shared stray for sheep on the 300 acre Cold Moor.

Although sheep make up the main bulk of animals on the farm, we have a whole host of other animals including horses, cows, chickens, ducks, pigs, dogs, cats and geese.

We (the Cooks) have run Beak Hills for over 25 years, following on the life from parents before us. The bed and breakfast is a service that has been offered at the farm for over 50 years.
