Beak Hills farm is nestled on the northern edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National park.
The National Park spans over 550 square miles with the UK's largest expanse of heather moorland.
The farm is sat in the heart of Raisdale a small tributary of the beautiful valley of Bilsdale. We are based 3 miles from the village of Chop Gate. Chop Gate is a small village with a population of approximately 330.
The village hosts one pub and one church, The Buck Inn is sat in the heart of the village and with hearty pub grub and good ales it is a welcome stop for visitors from all over the world. St Hilda's church sits to the north of the village.
10 miles to north of the farm is the small market town of Stokesley, with Helmsley sitting 15 miles to the south. Both towns host a wealth of shops and cafe's as well as pubs and hotels.
Middlesbrough is the largest town in the local area and is 15 miles from the farm. Here visitors can find shops, cinema's, golf courses, restaurants and much more.
